Ticket - Let Sleeping Dogs Lie - a great and rare record, 1972 New Zealand, magnificent acid/fuzz hard psych rock - plays lovely
Vinyl visual description: EX excellent, a lovely gloss, side 1 has a scratch from just before the end of track one to just over half way through track 2, no other obvious marks
Vinyl Playing description from listening critically on headphones: overall plays EX excellent loud and clear, faint repeated click from some of the scratch on track 2, overall plays lovely
Cover: good gatefold cover, textured surface, nice and flat, a little wear around the edges, postage stamp size record shop sticker inside gatefold cover, no ring impression, no damage, a bit aged
Labels: excellent - clear with no damage

RECORD DESCRIPTION USED
(inspected directly under a 100 light and fully played to describe how it actually plays)
Plus/minus additions not used - basically an EX record will sound great with only minimal surface noise, because after all it is vinyl, - and a VG record will sound fine with only occasionally surface noise from marks
Playing Grading
EX: plays excellent, slight noise at the start is allowable & a few crackles/pops with the remainder excellent
VG: very good, only occasionally surface noise, not continuous, +VG used when not quite good enough for EX
Visual Grading
MINT: new appearance, no visible marking, scuffing or scratches
EX: excellent appearance, clean glossy surface, possible some very light surface marks only
VG: very good appearance, clean surface, minimal surface marks, nothing serious
