Condition:
Sleeve: very strong VG+: Shrink wrap still on (beginning to peel at edges); almost no denting of edges, NO seam splits, NO ringwear. BB hole in top left is almost unnoticeable. Colors are bright and unfaded. Fantastic!!!
Vinyl: Mint-: Completely unplayed, no marks, no dust, looks and sounds beautiful (hear a clip below).
Here's a stone classic garage/psych rarity in its original LP release: The Tiffany Shade on Mainstream. This is a terrific 1968 album with folk/garage rock (and touches of psychedelia) plus GREAT 60's punk lead vocals and remarkably strong harmony vocals. For fans of Nuggets, Byrds, Love, etc. This is a very interesting album with many textures... Vernon Joynson rates it as R2 rarity and says the group came from Cleveland, Ohio...
I found this LP in a group of cutout Mainstream LPs (see my other auction this week for the LP by the NUCLEUS) in Tennessee recently. It's got the original marked down price sticker on the shrinkwrap (44 cents, sorry, but I think it will go for a little bit more this time!), the cover is fantastic condition with the original shrinkwrap on it and the vinyl is near perfect. Don't miss the opportunity to pick up a true 60's classic on this legendary label!
