Description

Tim Buckley - Goodbye & Hello
Radio Acetate (no cat Number)

This is a very unusual item, it has been sold before on eBay in 2009 and a printout from that auction is included, we do not know the price. According to the then vendor (Recordmecca) it came from the personal collection of Danny Fields who worked at Elektra on Tim's records

This Acetate is a radio spot advertising his second LP (Which I am also auctioning in Mono and Stereo)

The spot plays the title song and after the words 'And wave goodbye to speed and smile hello to a rose' and announcer says 'Tim Buckley, Goodbye And Hello from Elektra. You know, people say Goodbye And Hello is the anthem of a new generation. Maybe that’s why most radio stations won't play it' Then the song continues

This Acetate is certainly a rarity, quite possibly a one-off!

The Condition is VG+, it has visible light marks but plays well

I will include the printout of the previous sale which came with the record
