Tim Buckley- Debut LP on Elektra, EKL-4004. Original 1966 edition stamped promo, SEALED!
My more astute vinyl obsessed friends will have noticed by now that the jacket has the Mono Elektra code (EKL) but the jacket also has a gold "Stereo" sticker on the upper right corner (under the shrink with the "Not For Sale Promotion Use Only" stamp/indentation over top). Strange!
Either way, this is going to be the Elektra large E logo label, the question is: is the LP Mono or Stereo and is it a white label? I've read that some white label promo Mono's were issued in Stereo jackets, but never the other way around, or if Stereo white label promos even exist? The sticker indicates that this is probably a Stereo LP (why else would they have added it, and while we're on the subject, that's something I've never seen or heard of before, so that in itself makes this copy quite an interesting curio), so we're probably looking at a gold Stereo edition, but, well who knows. Either way you win, you get a stone MINT 1966 Tim Buckley original of his dedut LP! I've never been so tempted to open a record in my life so I've got to sell it before I do. The pleasure is all yours.
The LP is MINT, nice crisp corners, no dents, dings or creases. You could not possibly be disappointed.
