Description
Tim Hardin 1
LP
If you are looking for a great copy of this - look no further! It's in very collectable condition - you won't be disappointed.
(SEE ALSO my auction for Tim Hardin 2 - his second LP also on Verve Folkways from 1972. It's in excellent condition. Ends Sunday night (UK time) 12th Feb)
An original issue from 1967 in a ‘Flipback’ Sleeve. Both record & sleeve are excellent.
Tim Hardin (who sadly passed away in 1980) is an oft-overlooked figure from the 1960s, but his influence was apparent in the work of Bobby Darin, Rod Stewart, Faces, Van Morrison etc. This first album is an accidental classic, comprised of a number of demos, and features string arrangements on many tunes that the artist himself knew nothing about. A bonus is John Sebastian from ‘The Lovin’ Spoonful’ and jazzman Gary Burton on vibes.
Tim Hardin – Vocals, guitar, piano / John Sebastian – Harmonica / Gary Burton, Phil Krauss – Vibes / Walter Yost, Bob Bushnell – Bass / Buddy Saltzman, Earl Palmer – Drums / Artie Butler – String Arrangements.
