TIM ROSE - SELF TITLED 1967 FIRST PRESSING DEBUT ALBUM IN EXCELLENT CONDITION    CBS RECORDS, CAT NO: 63168 - MATRIX NUMBERS A/B   A TRUE SIXTIES CLASSIC, THE DEBUT ALBUM FROM TIM ROSE IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY RARE. IT CONTAINS THE CLASSIC TIM ROSE VERSIONS OF "HEY JOE" (THE VERSION WHICH INSPIRED JIMI HENDRIX TO COVER IT) "MORNING DEW" AND "COME AWAY MELINDA" A SONG FIRST RECORDED BY ROSE AND MAMA CASS ELLIOT IN THEIR EARLY SIXTIES BAND THE BIG THREE. (SEE PHOTOS FOR FULL TRACK LISTING). BOTH THE VINYL AND THE COVER OF THIS COPY ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION   VINYL: THE AUDIO IS RICH AND VERY SHARP. THERE IS NO MUDDYING OF THE SOUND, NO DISTORTION. THERE IS SOME BACKGROUND CRACKLE, BUT IT IS ONLY NOTICEABLE ON THE RUNS INS, AND DOESN'T DETRACT FROM THIS FINE COLLECTION OF SONGS. VISUALLY THIS RECORD RETAINS ITS DEEP ORIGINAL LUSTRE. IT IS VERY CLEAN.   UNDER A STRONG LIGHT THERE ARE A COUPLE OF MINOR HAIRLINE MARKS VISIBLE, BUT THEY ARE COMPLETELY INAUDIBLE AND DON'T AFFECT PLAY AT ALL. THERE ARE NO SKIPS, STICKS OR LOUD POPS. THE HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL HAS NO WARPS OR OTHER DAMAGE.     LABELS: EXCELLENT - ORANGE CBS, NO WRITING OR OTHER MARKS.   COVER: FRONT LAMINATED SLEEVE, RIGID AND INTACT SPINE. THE WHITE REAR SLEEVE HAS SOME VERY SLIGHT RING WEAR BUT IS CLEAN WITH NO MARKS OR WRITING.   INNER SLEEVE: PLAIN WHITE POLY-LINED PAPER     ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I have been a record collector since the 1960's and have traded them for the last twenty years. Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
