Description
TINA LOUISE - "It's Time For Tina". Original 1957 mono USA pressing LP on Concert Hall Records.
Among the many great LPs with Tina covers this one stands out because she actually SINGS on it, and it's a true JAZZ LP - with Coleman Hawkins, Hilton Jefferson and Tyree Glenn - and features Tina's sexy breathy vocals, ala Julie London.
Cover is STRONG VG+ overall.
The all-important front cover is VG++, very close to Near Mint. NO ringwear. Bottom right corner is crunched a little. Top and bottom seams are great, no splits, little wear. Spine has no splits but right at center it feels rough like it's been glued so maybe a split was starting there and was repaired. Otherwise spine has some paper cracking (affecting the title written on spine a bit). The white back cover is moderately faded from age, as is typical, and has a small brown stain
Labels are VG++ due to a couple spindle trails. Record itself is a STRONG VG+ on Side 1 and VG on Side 2. Both sides have full original gloss and the light hairline marks on Side 2 won't affect play significantly.
This is a very nice copy of this great collectable LP!
