Description
- I"M BACK WITH SOME REAL GOOD 45s - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1990 U.S. FRESH SQUEEZED RECORDS 45 containing the tunes titled 'Dick Tracy Rides Again'/'Ready For Love' from Tiny Tim, he of 'Tip Toe Through The Tulips' fame. It is Fresh Squeezed Records U.S. catalog number FS-4507.
- A-side was originally recorded in 1989 as "Batman Rides Again" for a proposed new Tiny Tim single coinciding with the Batman movie starring Jack Nicholson. Then using the same backing tracks with slightly altered lyrics added, the song was released as "Dick Tracy Rides Again" in 1990.
- Condition of record is a high VG with a couple of light surface marks, none of which can be felt and none of which affect play, and a linear series of four surface scuffs which can be felt which I think are a pressing defect - These scuffs for the most part do not affect play, they may cause two or three slight non-distracting ticks, I believe the music is pressed right into these areas. Record also has an extremely slight slow warp which has absolutely no effect on play. Labels have no real flaws. I have adjusted the opening bid price in this auction to allow for the slight condition issues - This RARE 45 would be a nice addition to any Tiny Tim or Batman-related 45 record collection!
