Description

Regretfully  I am selling  my   beautiful copy of the  1st TISM album. Its a double in  beautiful condition with  the  inner  sleeves  etc and  is the cover  with the bulldozer. ( there were  3 diff  covers  as I recall to this album ) .. this was the first. TISM were a unique  rock band with a  brilliant  stage show and  their line up was  one  made up of  people  who despite their brilliance never showed their faces.  This  album features the track used as  debut single  Defecate On My Face  and the   highly acclaimed follow  up 40 Years- Then Death   - a  single that went to approximately No. 29  on Melbournes  high rating  3XY   charts.

Please note  -  THIS IS AS NEAR I COULD FIND TO THE COVER. MAROON .   with Pink  dozer  and  HUGE GOLD LETTERING

I will list  the other tracks  and  hopefully add  an image  but to be  honest to describe   TISM ...  they were a  brilliant high energy alternative  rock band  that somewhere between  comedic  and  punk  and   would later  progress to  dance music. The album is in  excellent  condition though -  I can see   couple of  small marks that will not effect play .

Having come from a  radio  dj    -  it is nice to know this one has been carefully   cared  for -  no names  or  shocking  black texta   identifications  written across  it . The  vinyl is   awesome. The album  has long been deleted and it is  on the MUSICLAND label .

I am going to  paste a link to  Wikipedia  -  something I wouldn't  nprmally  do but  you will see the  link  with the songs  and  note - the different  album cover.             http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Truckin%27_Songs_of_the_Renaissance

This is NOT  a reproduction but the obscure  original pressing . To be honest I don't have a  spare   but I will sell  and  its a great opportunity for someone. Probably   the most  creative Australian  band since Melbournes mighty Skyhooks  the  buyer will not be disappointed.

I will  commence it  at  $89.99    and buy now  $135 .00. Honestly I have not seen one of these in years. TISM  disbanded  a few years ago  though their legacy can still be heard in the  Australian band "Root. "

One thing I do insist on is  tracked postage  - to prevent   claims of items not received. That would be at the buyers  expense  and  I  insist upon that unless  a person sends a document  waiving any liability.
