Description
Released by Tamla Motown in 1966, cat # TMG 566; this is “Take Some Time Out For Love” / “Who Could Ever Doubt My Love” by the Isley Brothers.
This is a classic red/white demo with the release date in the centre of each label. There is a bit of wear and a couple of small marks on the A-side label and a ring-mark on the B-side label. Both playing surfaces have moderate wear and look no better than very good. Again, the record plays much better than it look – quality 60’s pressings – and the record deserves at least a very good grading. The record comes in the original orange sleeve with a white sticker in the top left corner with track/artist details.
All of these Motown singles come from the same source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. The vast majority of the collection is mint or unplayed, but he clearly loved his Motown as most of the 60’s and early 70’s singles are generally in very good condition, but with a few notable exceptions! For the full story on the collection, please see our “me” page.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are still just £1 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
I will combine multiple auction wins to reduce postage costs, so please remember to look at my other Motown singles. This is the final Motown-only week. We are now moving onto all other soul genres so keep your eyes open!
