Description

TOE FAT Original VINYL LP from 1970 (RARE EARTH RS-511). This was owned by KABC-FM as indicated by the stamp on sleeve. This album features CLIFF BENNETT (of the Rebel Rousers), KEN HENSLEY and LEE KERSLAKE (later in Uriah Heep) and JOHN GLASSCOCK (later in Jethro Tull). A very collectible early 70s UK progressive rock LP with some heavy blues leanings. The HIPGNOSIS designed sleeve is quite interesting and was once voted the most grotesque sleeve ever, though this is the US censored version which replaced the naked woman (on the UK sleeve) with a lamb!. The back is also different than UK and has a picture of the band though it is misleading as it shows ALAN KENDALL (later in Bee Gees) who replaced Hensley right after the album was finished. Songs include: Just like me, Working nights, Nobody, etc. Sleeve has KABC-FM stamp on it and is VG. Record has a scuff mark on third track on Side One (has minimal effect on play, no skips) otherwise VG+.
