Lots of cool tracks on this oddball 1971 private press LP, cool sleeve with pic of Mario Andretti on back, issued as a benefit LP by the Lehigh Valley Hemophilia Association. Mix of cover versions and originals, Shadow do a cool garage version of Grand Funk Railroad’s ‘Aimless Lady’, Reflections of Tyme do a crude fuzz version of Neil Young’s ‘Cinnamon Girl’, Sound Reaction do a ridiculously inept version of Ringo’s ‘It Don’t Come Easy’ that is hilarious, but the best tracks are the originals, Phusion do ‘Lonely Twilight (Hemophiliac’s Theme)’ a moody spooky garage ballad, Illusions do ‘Lucky In The Morning’ with cool fuzz and freaky keyboards, Bitter End do ‘If You Want Somebody’ which is ultra crude garage fuzz with whacked out vocals and Morpheus do ‘Where Is My Life’ which is my favorite, a loner lost flowing garage psych gem, wish they had made their own full LP. A couple weak versions of Chicago and Three Dog Night also. Local Pennsylvania bands, very obscure, a personal fave for this sort of thing. Red Barn Farm Records # LP 83071. Ex/M- superb condition.
