Description
Ok, here’s a rare one. This is a 4th press copy of the classic TOGETHER comp 7in on Revelation Records from 1987. Features Side By Side, Supertouch, Youth of Today, Bold, Gorilla Biscuits, Sick of it All, and Warzone!!! SBS and SOIA check in with the best tracks i think. Here is what Revelation Records had to say about this pressing:
“4th press: 100 (?) black vinyl. Sleeves are obvious photo copies of previous ones due to the washing out of most of the pictures' detail. The (insert) was made much smaller for this press. Chances are that there are many more than 100, however there is no data to verify one way or another.”
This record is very, very scarce…much harder to find than the regular first or second press. Instead of coming as a big folded up piece of paper, the lyric insert is like a little eight page book with all the band info on it. You can see this in the picture. The sleeve is exactly like described in the above description. The picture on the back of the sleeve definitely looks washed out.
Overall, the whole deal is in amazing shape! The sleeve has no rips, tears, stains, bends, folds, or creases. Same with the insert. The vinyl plays awesome with no skips or pops. Most sources you see say there “100 or so” copies pressed, or “approximately 100 copies” pressed. There were probably a little more than 100 copies pressed in the late 80s, but not much more…definitely less than three or four hundred copies. This copy never comes around as often as the regular black vinyl pressings of this classic comp 7in! BID NOW, you know this one will not be on here again any time soon...and you know you need it to complete your Revelation, NYHC, youth crew, 80s hardcore, or SXE record collection!
