"Kentucky Waltz" is a rockin guitar vocal by Tommy Brown and "Tomahawk" is an excellent. guitar and drums instrumental by the Tom Toms.
This group started up in Arlington, Texas in 1959, before moving to the Guthrey Club in Dallas. At Guthrey's, one of the largest R & B clubs in the city, the band became Tommmy & the Tom Toms. They soon became one of the top, and most imitated, dance bands in the DFW area and soon recorded numerous singles for noted Fort Worth producer Major Bill Smith.
