Description

TOM PETTY And THE HEARTBREAKERS "Hard Promises" rare WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING LP from 1981 (MCA TEST PRESSING). Test pressings are very rare and collectible. Only a few are made in the pressing plants and even fewer find their way to the collectors’ market. This could be the test pressing of the MCA Masterphile Half Speed Mastered edition which was released at the same time as the stock LP. The record was pressed on audiophile quality virgin vinyl and was Translucent when held against a light source (similar to QUIEX II and MFSL LPs). Has the famous tribute to JOHN LENNON in dead wax stating “WE LOVE YOU J.L.”. MATRIX Numbers: MCA 2445-5511, MCA 2446-5511, STERLING Stamped on both sides. Comes in plain white sleeve. One of his best. Includes: Waiting, Woman in love, A thing about you, etc. Record is EX.
