Beautiful copy of the original 1974 pressing of Tom T. Hall’s Songs of Fox Hollow LP on Mercury SRM-1-500. This record has the classic country singer-songwriter doing a children’s record with a booklet, very much in the same vein as Nilsson’s the Point. Still great country music with legendary Nashville players such as Charlie McCoy, Mike Leech, Chip Young, Bob Moore, Jerry Kennedy, and so on and on. Just a fantastic record, very much legendary today. This is of course the original version with the skyscraper labels and the full booklet. The disc is beautiful and plays completely flawlessly. There are some of those superficial spots that come from the acid in the paper sleeve, but they are not at all damage. Really it is in almost mint shape. The cover has light shelfwear, with a 2.5” seam split at the top, and some general edge and corner wear, and very light ringwear. But really still quite nice, as you can see. The booklet is near perfect. This is a truly top original copy, hard to beat.
