Close to Holy Grail for Tom Verlaine freaks? The acetates from Sterling Sound NYC for sides 1 and 2 of Flashlight and the 12" of Town Called Walker with Tom's notes on the chords and guitar parts for Town Called Walker, Cry Mercy Judge and Bomb.
A friend of mine auditioned to be his guitarist for promo tv/gigs for the album, but didn't get the job - Love and Rockets did the tv and a guy called Jimmy Ripp did the touring. But Tom laid out all the stuff on paper at the audition to do the gigs and here are his notes on those songs. The acetates have apparently never been played (as you do with them) and are virgin but with the funny stains they get over time. He was living above Townhouse Studios in Shepherds Bush at the time, hence the Townhouse headed paper. Really nice memorabilia from someone who I'm told is a really nice person and a great great guitar player, to see the cool way he describes the way to play the stuff is surely heaven for a big Tom Verlaine freak. It all reads as no big deal to play!

I'm not a professional ebay seller so bear with me, it's just more stuff that has been in storage for a long time that should go to the right home, I have a full time demanding job but will answer any questions as soon as I can. I really hope a big Tom/Television lover gets this unique and rather lovely thing.
