Rare 7 LP box set on 180g vinyl of the original 2006 CD release. Includes BONUS LP with 6 extra tracks.
And there's more! BONUS 7" 45rpm single of 'Lie To Me' in Anti- Records sleeve.
Contains: 1. Outer box and inner slipcase all with artwork - seriously thick and heavy quality protection. 2. 6 x 180g LPs, each in a high quality individual sleeve, with PVC-lined generic white inner sleeve. 3. 1 x 180g Bonus LP with six tracks not on the original release. 4. 32-page high quality 12" booklet with full lyrics and photos. 5. 1 x one-sided sheet with track listings (originally was on rear of box when in shrink wrap). 6. BONUS 7" single 'Lie To Me' with a b-side cover Fats Domino's 'Crazy About My Baby' (Anti- Records European promo 45rpm pressing, 2006, cat.no. 1271-7).
This item was bought new by me in 2009 from Tower Records, Dublin. Barely played, as I have it on CD. Stored upright and kept away from sunlight. Online forums have discussed this edition as being a little as 1,000 copies up to 4- or 5,000 copies.
Please note the individual LP sleeves all have unique artwork featuring odd and obscure information taken from old books and newspapers, which is typically Tom Waits (right?), and what's more, these sleeves are unique to this box set and have not, to my knowledge, been reproduced on the 2018 reissues.
And don't forget that this is selling on other websites for up to £500, so grab a relative bargain!
Item will be sent carefully in thick cardboard packaging, carefully protected for its journey to a new, loving (right?) home. Nothing worse than buying records and receiving them damaged from being sent in thin, cheap mailers. Local collection is also welcome.
