Description

TOM WAITS's "Small Change" - This is a TEST PRESSING of the ASYLUM RECORDS (7E-1078) release of 1976. The LP labels are from "Columbia Record Productions, Santa Maria" as seen in scan. I have compared the grooves with a stock copy which seem to match though have not listened to the entire album, but it appears to be the same pressing. It originally came in a white cover with "7E-1078 and Advanced Copies" hand-written on the front top. That cover is pretty beat - but is included - so I've put it in a regular "Small Change" jacket and new white inner sleeve and included the special inner sleeve (with words and credits) with the cover - both in VG+ shape.

The LP is in nice VERY GOOD PLUS condition, and appears to have been played rarely with few visible spindle marks on the labels and generally plays cleans with little surface noise. There is a small scratch on Side 2 overlapping the end of Song 1 ("Tom Traubert's Blues") and begining of Song 2 ("Step Right Up") which leaves a few moderate ticks towards the end of Song 1, but disappears at the end and is unheard on Song 2. There are a small number of very light surface (sleeve) marks (seen under direct light) which may leave occasional light noise, but nothing of note.
