TOMMY HUNT - YOU MADE A MAN OUT OF ME/HOW YOUNG IS YOUNG [Scepter 1275]

Tommy Hunt began a prolific career in the world of soul beginning in the late 1950's. For a brief period of time he was a member of the Flamingos. He went on and found success recording R&B throughout the 60's. Hunt however continues to perform to this day. He still draws a strong following.
Tommy Hunt's 1964 release "You Made A Man Out Of Me" was backed with the title "It's All A Bad Dream." However someone this particular record ended up having the B side with the track "How Young Is Young." "How Young Is Young" was available on the same album as the A side of the single, but was never released as a single. It theoretically should not even be on the flip of this single.
"You Made A Man Out of Me" is a MOD rockin' uptempo soul classic. "How Young Is Young" is phenomenal. It is smooth, soulful, sexy and powerful. The song is more impressive with each listen.
The record has minimal label wear on either side. There is an ink mark at the bottom of the B side. A small BB hole is in the label and their is a small nick on the inner circle hole. The vinyl has typical signs of play wear. The B side vinyl could use a cleaning - this will reduce a lot of the excess noise. The original Scepter sleeve is included and in excellent condition with no splitting, tears or writing. You can listen to the actual record here:

*Please note - my turntable is a simple ION Profile LP simply for converting media. It is by no means a high end turntable and the sound quality will be MUCH better on a higher end turn table.
All records come with basic sleeves unless a factory or picture sleeve is indicated in the description. I do not use a grading system as I feel that everyone interprets it differently. For example, I see many records listed as being Near Mint, yet the label is torn or has writing on it. To me that is not near mint. I prefer to describe the record as best I can, post photos, and allow viewers to listen to the actual record as to determine for themselves how the record should be graded.
I ship using Media Mail at $3.50 and deliver the day of or after the payment is received. Please remember that shipping costs also include the cost of materials to ship the order. International shipping is available. The cost to ship this Internationally is $13.00. If there is a difference in international shipping cost, I will refund that to you. I will also combine shipping. I try to keep shipping costs as low as possible, however recent increases by USPS have affected what I charge to ship.
I am happy to ship internationally, however I will not change the value of the record. There are many reasons for this. First, I enjoy selling records and do not want to jeopardize that. Second, I include a receipt with the order and if customs were to examine the package, they would see the difference. Third, if something were to happen to the item in shipping, I would refund the customers money, but then not be able to claim what was lost. Thanks you for understanding.
