Description
Hello and welcome to my auction.
I have taken many pictures of this record as seen above.
I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
I never ship records inside the picture covers or LP jackets.
TOMORROW.
FEATURING KEITH WEST.
UK STEREO 1968 PARLOPHONE LP - PCS 7042.
This is a very rare UK 1st pressing of this great psych LP.
The Record / VG condition.
The LP has some light marks and surface wear when graded under halogen bulb. The record has no very deep or nasty marks that stop play.
Sound / play grading / VG+ / A nice 1st pressing to play!
Matrix Numbers / YEX 667-1 / YEX 668-1.
Vinyl Weight 142 Grams.
The Cover / VG condition.
A decent example that would of been graded higher if it did not have a 1.5" split at the top middle. Please see the pictures above. The lamination is still pretty clean. The back has some normal age wear.
The cover was manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse.
The Labels / EX condition.
The Inner Cover / VG+ condition.
.................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
Thanks for looking.
