A very nice condition and highly presentable copy of this 1968 UK 1st press psych gemwith glossy vinyl, original front-side laminated flipback outer sleeve, original inner, and impressive STEREO sound quality throughout

Increasingly rare and sought after 1968 UK 1st press psych gem.  Very good plus (VG+) condition weighty and completely flat glossy vinyl still retaining a nice jet black sheen with a few light hairlines and very light, small scuff marks on each side, only really in evidence with close scrutiny under a bright light with all being non-feelable and appearing to be superficial only (though there is one 4mm non-feelable hairline at the beginning of A5 that that does result in x8 very mild background clicks);  excellent (EX) condition labels with just a couple very light, small and barely detectable spindle trails on each label, and the "K" and "T" tax codes embossed upon the side 1 label;  very good plus (VG+) condition front-side laminated original press Garrod & Lofthouse flipback outer sleeve with firm unscuffed edges (apart from 2cm of minor edge scuffing towards the bottom of the front side opening edge - see photo), minimal rubbing on each corner, some non-obvious 1-2cm light laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the front edges; the reverse side is in overall excellent condition with each of the flip backs in great condition, and just some minor horizontal laminate lifting towards the bottom left hand corner and a few very light handling/shelf wear surface marks. Excellent (EX) STEREO sound quality with no skips, repeats, jumps, obvious clicks (note the aforementioned x8 minor background clicks at the beginning of A5 and a few more even lighter clicks towards the end of the same track) or interference, and background crackle is virtually non-existent - just the hint of some very minor crackle during a couple of the intermissions...nothing really, and certainly not impinging upon the overall excellent sound tone and clarity, with every track a great listen. 

Comes complete with excellent (EX) condition original EMI advertising inner sleeve with no edge splits or creasing, barely any age discolouration and remaining fully functional.

A nice condition and highly presentable copy of this psych gem - rare and highly sought after.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
