DESCRIPTION
You are bidding on a really nice example of a RARE original 1964 UK  release by TONY BROOK WITH THE BREAKERS on the Columbia label (DB 7279) "MEANIE GENIE'" b/w "OOH POO PAH DOO" 7-inch 45 RPM single with 4-prong push-out centre. In period-correct repro Columbia company sleeve.
This terrific single is in a beautiful excellent plus (EX+) condition. Clean, crisp and bright, retaining its original sheen and without any discernible surface marks or blemishes. The labels are nice and clean (see scans). There are no tears or writing. Only a 'FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE' sticker, on one side, indicating a first pressing. The 4-prong push-out centre is fully intact and has no damage. There are a couple of very light wispy lines near centre but no signs of wear , The record plays superbly, loud and clear, without hiss or crackle or anything to spoil the enjoyment. Definitely no skips or jumps.
