Description

My record of the week! Tough and downhome. Hollins has a great deep voice and his guitar is beautifully recorded - mainly lower end work. Someone else handles the busy top string work but no-one knows who this was. My guess, after a bit of digging and listening is Pete Franklin, but that is by no means conclusive. Sunnyland Slim on piano is reliable as always. Issued 1953. He only made one other 78. Note: As stated above there are some scratches and surface mainly affecting 'Fishing' but these are not deep and due to the top notch recorded sound and light weight pressing this is not a big problem and overall the listening experience is excellent but be aware. Trust me, this plays and sounds great with an unusually vibrant sound for this period!
