Tony Middleton – Out Of This World / Paris Blues (Mala Records – 544) Original 1966 U.S. 7" 45 RPM Single | Official DJ Promo / Plug Side Release

The Release

An undeniable, top-tier holy grail for Northern Soul purists and serious 1960s soul selectors. Arranged and produced by legendary maestro Claus Ogerman (Polydor Series) for Bell Records / Mala, "Paris Blues" remains an electrifying, mid-tempo crossover monster and one of the most revered dancefloor spins in existence. Backed with Middleton's powerhouse vocal reading of Harold Arlen & Johnny Mercer’s "Out Of This World", this double-sider is exceptionally scarce in its original yellow Bell-script DJ Promotion Copy format.
