TONY SHERIDAN & THE BEAT BROTHERS: My Bonnie ("Twist") / The Saints (´61 / very rare orig. German 7" / POLYDOR NH 24 673 / orange "scroll" labels / on this recording "The Beat Brothers", Tony Sheridan´s backing group, were of course identical to the future Beatles, most likely still with Pete Best on drums; even though the name "The Beatles" isn´t mentioned yet, this 7" can be regarded as the first-ever Beatles´ 45 worldwide! / there are two versions in existence, this is the so-called "Twist" version with an English intro, which isn´t quite as rare as the "Rock" version with a German-language intro, even though both versions have become hard-to-find in recent years! / included with the record in its original company sleeve you will find a photocopy of the extremely rare picture sleeve (>see small scan #2) - but please note, that a) the photocopy has only a rather "modest" quality and b) that photocopies don´t have a "real" value anyway!)

DESCRIPTION:

the vinyl has some hairlines and a few light surface scratches, nevertheless this 7" is still in a very acceptable condition, if you compare it to the majority of other copies of this 45 (please keep in mind, that this is one of those records, which usually are only found in a very frequently played, somewhat lower condition - even a record in VG(-) condition like the one you´ll find on offer here is probably in a better shape than estimated 85% or 90% of all copies of this record / the labels are clean / the company sleeve is in superb condition regarding its age: the corners are just a little bit bent, but there are no further mistakes (the photocopy has NOT been graded - see above!)
