SCARCE '67 original VINYL of the VERY FIRST JANIS JOPLIN LP...yes, the original 1967 first pressing...on wildly collected MAINSTREAM RECORDS (they issued a bunch of now expensive garage/psych unknowns...Big Brother & The Holding Company were the labels best act in terms of the historic rise of fame with Janis Joplin).... A strong collectible!!!

The very first album by Janis Joplin, recorded in 1967 ...a great hard psychedelic garage winner with raw & wild edges throughout, terrific dual fuzz guitars, psychedelic moves all over (Light Is Faster Than Sound, etc), and the powerful voice of Joplin before she was known; one can clearly can sense the major importance of this legendary singer in her early stages, grinding, belting & roaring amid the tight fuzzrock of BIG BROTHER AND THE HOLDING COMPANY, one of 60's San Francisco's finest!

CONDITION:
The cover... sturdy & stiff, "MINT" = the white cover is VERY hard to find clean, this copy is STILL IN ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK WRAP (the outer cellophane has a price sicker size area removed at front top right, otherwise the cellophane is strong and tight on front & back = nice collection keeper ... no seam splits, no bends, no writing...
The vinyl... is all glossy..."EX" (excellent) plays clean...
