Wake Up... It's Tomorrow may be the ultimate California hippie album. Everytime you play it, the stuff feels so wonderful. The great Beach Boys harmonies compliment and mesh in a way that Starwberry Alarm Clock sounds better than any of the similar California sunshine psych bands of the era...
"Nightmare of Percussion" leads the listener to its wonderland. "Soft Skies, No Lies" works just as nicely. Then comes "Tomorrow", which is one of the three songs this album is famous for – one of the all time great pop-psych grooves... the other two classics are "Sit With the Guru" and "Pretty Song From Psych-Out." Those songs are awesome and definitely prime flower power era material. In between, "They Saw the Fat One Coming" is nice, "Go Back (You're Going the Wrong Way)" is even a small masterpiece and "Curse of the Witches" interestingly reveals a bit of what was going on below the surface of the semi-collective psyche of the flowery generation. Hidden highlight "Sitting On A Star" contains an irresistable soaring melody that sticks in your head once the tune sinks its claws in you -- as does the album on a whole...masterful pop-psych flower-power explosion
Speaking of revelations, in a way the three-piece suite "Black Butter" is one. The 'Past' fragment is a relatively ordinary SAC song, 'Present' goes totally psychedelic and far out, and 'Future' pleases the listener with a classic art-psych sunshine pop feel.

CONDITION: The cover is clean and stiff, "EX" (excellent) very hard to find without shelf wear, the grey color background did not wear well...this copy an exception with very very little previous shelf wear detectible...any is insignificant and should be readily accepted in most any collection with great desire to have...
THE VINYL is nice..."EX" (excellent) all shiny both sides, nothing significant, expect to play very enjoyable
