In their eight-year existence, they came a long, LONG way from humble beginnings as a surf-tinged instrumental combo, morphing into a matching-suited Beatles/Kinks derivation (with cool originals!), psychedelic ballroom denizens, and high-energy blasters, leaving in their wake a half-dozen killer singles on almost as many labels and an album that's an ignored classic. And if that ain't enough, almost all of this stuff is totally unavailable (until now!) due to an extremely convoluted history and the machinations of music biz types like their former mentor/manager the late Jeep Holland and the dreaded Allen Klein of Beatles/Stones notoriety ...Out On The Floor finally exists...and collects the best material from the Rationals' mid-60s teen garage heyday, including such signature tunes as "Leavin' Here," "Temptation's Bout To Get Me" and their big regional hit, "I Need You." Mostly recorded at sessions in 1967 and 1968, when the Michigan quartet was at the top of its game, the contents of Out On The Floor have remained unreleased or un-reissued for years until now.

CONDITION: The cover is completely Mint...stiff and solid, with 4 sharp corners ...no split seams, no bends and no writing ... the design is outstanding...the back cover simulates the old UK sixties look complete with 'backflaps' and layout similar to old Parlophone albums...
The vinyl: Mint all clear and smooth glossy grooves...looks unplayed.
