Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE and highly sought after....Original 1964 first pressing of the BIG DADDY ROTH monster model kit promotions with surf garage music...and YES, includes the all important souble sided inner sleeve (see photo)
This album was actually released to promote the Big Daddy Roth model kits. The songs are straight 60s teen/surf/garage, with a lot of humor and sarcasm thrown in.
A two-sided monsterpiece from Hairy Records (1964) this record is based on the hugely successful early sixties “Silly Surfer” and “Weird-ohs” model car assembly kits from The Hawk Model Co.. The Weird-ohs model kits were introduced in 1963. The initial three-kit batch of Weird-ohs consisted of Digger, a dragster; Daddy, a commuter; and Davey, a biker. These were soon joined by other releases that went on to become one of the most popular and successful series of model kits in plastic hot rod history. Similar to the drag monsters and toy model kits that Ed “Big Daddy” Roth and Stanley Mouse (the famous SF psych posters artist) were creating the Weird-ohs were the creation of William Campbell. CONDITION: The cover: is all around solid with only a little shelf wear, near "EX" (excellent) has tiny wear and tiny ding at top right corner, nothing else, great original colors, no split seams, no writing...this is a NICE 48 year old artifact...
The vinyl: all glossy over both sides, near "EX" (excellent) and plays beautiful ... both lavendar labels are CLEAN ... a must own sixties collectible....
