French artist Emmanuel Top's name is welded into the kernel circuit of 90s acid techno. Working from his base in Tourcoing, near Lille, he founded Attack Records in 1992 and spent much of the decade refining a stripped, hypnotic formula that turned the Roland TB-303 into a blunt instrument of trance-endence. The Legacy Of Attack Records (2025 Edition) revisits that era with ten remasters from his defining run - 'Acid Phase', 'Turkish Bazar' and 'Climax V 1.1' included. Each track reasserts Top's fixation on precision repetition and live-wire tension, qualities that made him a cult name among DJs from Belgium to Berlin, and the record marks three decades since Attack launched their first assault.
