In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1965 first pressing in bold MONO with the punchy production which is very suitable for the sounds of the rockin' sixties garage band raves...
This is the second (#2) album Sam The Sham and The Pharaohs have made for MGM Records. The set includes their hit Ju Ju Hand-and the whole idea behind the LP is one of mystery and magic with a beat.
In this LP, Sam and the group make the rhythm pot boil with a wild assortment of tunes that carry the Pharaohs trade mark-that great gritty garage beat. This album is a powerful follow-up to Sam's first album "Wooly Bully" (MGM-4297). The 45 r.p.m. single of Wooly Bully and the album went skyrocketing around the world-Sam and the Pharaohs went to the very top of record charts in England, Germany, Holland and many more countries around the world. This, their second album follows the same path with an array of hot cookin' Tex Mex grooves...The hit single "Ju Ju Hand," sounds like a cool continuation of "Wooly Bully" and the rest of the album is pretty strong choppy, bluesy garage rock. Sam & tHe Pharaohs get a lot of mileage out of references to voodoo or magic of sorts throughout the LP, from "Ju Ju Hand" to "Medicine Man," "I've Got a Voo Doo Doll," "That Old Black Magic," "The Gypsy," "Witchcraft," "Love Potion #9," "Magic Man"...actually, most of the album has songs along those themes. Sam & his crew take the lyrical themes and influences to swampy, scary, and authentic-sounding territory amid a throbbing backbeat....
