Top Of The Pops - 1270
Released in 1989 vinyl: VG+ (visually excellent with slight surface marks) sleeve: VG generic BBC TS, labels as shown.
label: original BBC TS Green (caveat emptor: 'Black Label' versions of BBC records are unofficial bootlegs) Issued to provide access to the popular music of the day to subscribing overseas radio stations.
It is thought that only about 100 of each were produced, with the instruction to destroy after their license expiry date! The Intro segment on side B is a closed groove commentary and sample play (you have to lift the pickup to the next track). What follows are 'Banded Tracks', (a separate play for each song without commentary). Host: Brian Matthew.
