VERY RARE ORIGINAL PRESSING on FONIT CETRA label (SFC 190), from 1978. Holy grail Italian-only release by the cult German jazz group. Actually a sextet session with a very funky and groovy Library sound that will be a revelation to many euro jazz and funk collectors. An outstanding set featuring Wolfgang Lauth on fender rhodes electric piano. Compositions mixing up modal jazz / funk / lounge / Brazilian rhythms / baroque scales and psychedelia. Lots of latin flute / break-beat drums / funky rhodes solos / superb jazz vibraphone / wah wah / latin percussion / big basslines / sophisticated beats and breaks. Great for DJs. Track for track, one of the best Library style Lps from Italy. We have recorded the killer modal jazz waltz of DORETTE and other funky club tunes and lounge themes for our soundclip. Much more early '70s in feel, like a mix of Sante Palumbo's Stasera In Casa Seduti ... with Barigozzi's Woman's Colors
