Midwest PRIVATE PRESS, circa 1968, has gathered plenty of collector interests with serious garage and hard-rock collectors.
Figure this was recorded a year before their great Capitol Records release "The Corporation" even though it is documented as a 1970 release AFTER the '69 Capitol Lp. We stand by the fact "Get On Our Swing" is a pre-Capitol 1968 recording ...

This is another story of a band who could have been at the top... and sadly weren't. Any fan of psychedelic music will welcome this -- their music can be compared to bands the likes of Iron Butterfly or Cream, and at times to Freeborne. Really impressive musicianship by all band members, with Pat McCarthy on the B-3 Hammond deserving special consideration, and a psychedelic vibe all around. Real "lively" & "intense" FUZZ-guitar all over the place, great vocal harmonies, accurate arrangements and an occasional but wise use of a whirling flute.
