Description

This is a RARE 12" STEREO 2 LP BOX SET of one of the greatest performances of TOSCA ever recorded. Cast members include LEONTYNE PRICE, GIUSEPPE DI STEFANO, and GIUSEPPE TADDEI. HERBERT VON KARAJAN conducts the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna State Opera Chorus. Also included in this box set is a 64 page SORIA SERIES libretto-booklet which was printed in Italy. It includes biographies and photographs of the cast and conductor and documents and photographs of the TOSCA premiere..
