It features the maestro’s 1939 cycle played with his beloved NBC Symphony Orchestra, the favorite of The Arturo Toscanini Society who indeed put this boxed set together with Olympic Records, all from the original master tapes.
It is a lift-top box edition, the box itself without fault, all corners intact. Inside, the booklet is fine and all seven LPs -- which are very heavy platters -- should play near mint.
A classic, definitive Beethoven set, put together by those who loved and adored Toscanini.
