Description

Arturo Toscanini conducts the BBC Symphony in a performance of BEETHOVEN's Overture to The Creatures of Promethius.  Recorded on June 1, 1939, this recording was unpublished as a commercial 78RPM record.  This is a VINYL PRESSING of the 78RPM matrix for this recording.  The H.M.V. Matrix number for this recording is 2EA 7971.  This disc is visually MINT and has virtually silent surfaces but for the rare, occasional 'tic'.  It is frankly quite stunning overall.  Winning bidder, please wait for my invoice before paying.  Good luck to all bidders and please look for the other rare and unpublished Toscanini 78RPM records that I will be listing on eBay.
