For auction is TOSHIBA AKIYOSHI: "The Many Sides of Toshiko," on Verve M GV-8273, MONO, DG, 1958.

SOUND: VG++

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely.  Side A is simply fantastic, sounds brilliant! Side B is graded VG+ due to minor surface noise and a tic here and there. Overall, the playback is excellent!

VINYL: VG++

Visually, the vinyl is beautiful! Clean, glossy, and practically new-looking. The only thing that keeps it from a NM grade is a tiny mark in A4, "We'll Be Together Again," which does not affect the playback. The black/silver "trumpeter" labels are very clean, with a couple spindle marks. The record is Deep-grooved both sides.

COVER: VG+ or better

The cover is excellent. The edges are solid with minimal wear except for a 2-inch split top front right to the edge. The corners look good with minor wear, except for that upper right one. The front and back covers are very clean, and unmarked except for a stray blue-pen mark by the track list. The rear lower right has a bend about 4 inches across. See pics.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. 

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
