I have been in the record collecting / selling business for over 30 years and own a record store that has been doing business for the past 26 years. I try to bring only CLEAN vinyl to the market place and can appreciate a fellow collector's quest for such. Everything I sell is professionally packaged and mailed in a timely fashion, usually the day after payment is received. All records are carefully visually graded. DESCRIPTION OF ITEM UP FOR YOUR BIDS:
LABEL: OUR FIRST (no number) stereo
COVER CONDITION: VG+. Light ring. Corner wear. Seams are tight. NO cutouts.
RECORD CONDITION: VG+++. (Very close to NEAR MINT). No scratches. Just a couple of very light superficial sleeve scuffs. NOTE: There is a very small pressing 'bump/warp' in one spot that required me to add an extra 1/2 gram to my stylus weight (I normally track at 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 grams) when playing the first 2" of each side of the record (the rest of the record was not affected). If I did not add the weight, the stylus would jump a groove occasionally. Adding the weight resolved that issue. The fidelity is excellent and there is no music distortion. Played with a minimal bit of background noise which diminished greatly with a mild cleaning (by hand). A professional cleaning (which I always let the new owner do with their own method) should take care of the remaining BG noise that is only heard in the quiet areas (which are very few in this ROCKING GUITAR CLASSIC)!
