TOUCH "THIS IS TOUCH" ALBUM
Released in 1969 on the DECCA DERAM Label SML - 1033
Condition :- NEAR MINT

I bought this Album in 1969 the week it was released. It was ordered specially for me at
my local record shop. It was never put out on display for the public to handle. The Album
was played on a high quality turntable for that era ( Thorens 125 turntable, SME arm with
Shure V15 cartridge.) The LP was always cleaned with a high quality cleaner and stored in
a plastic outer sleeve for protection. I am not a record dealer and never have been, I am just
selling off my own private Album collection.
THE COVER
The COVER is in NEAR MINT condition. The GATEFOLD COVER has a HIGH GLOSS
LAMINATE finish. It is as CLEAN as NEW. The CORNERS are FIRM and TRUE and there
are ABSOLUTELY NO scuff marks. The SPINE is SQUARE and SHARP with no sign of any
wear. The SLEEVE openings are SHARP without any scuff marks from removing the Album.
Inside the GATEFOLD it is as CLEAN as NEW. For an Album COVER that is 39 years old
it is in a STUNNING condition. However the only minor flaws are on the FRONT COVER....
Centre top there is 1cm fine line where the laminate has lifted and a 2cms line just above the
right hand in photo.
THE POSTER
The Album includes a full sized POSTER as NEW and never been used.
THE VINYL
The VINYL is in NEAR MINT condition. It has a HIGH GLOSS finish, it is EXTREMELY
CLEAN, without any scratches or finger marks. The LABEL looks like NEW with NO
SPINDLE marks whatsoever. The SOUND quality is SUPERB, with barely a crackle, a
VERY QUIET PRESSING. Playing it for the first time in 35 years I was amazed with the
sound quality and the music, so advanced for that era. It has only been played 5 times
including the Test Play on my REGA PLANAR 3 tuntable with ORTOFON cartridge. It was
so exciting to hear this Album once again.
