Touch : Touch 1A / 1A 1st Mono Press + Large Colour Poster 1969
This first mono pressing on the brown Deram label is just stunning!  And of course what makes it even more collectable is that it still includes the original large colour poster in superb condition.  The vinyl has only been lightly played and the clarity, depth and power of the audio is exceptional!  In essence there is no interference on either side just a couple of minor static ticks and as always I have played every track in full.  The record is visually in fantastic condition also with no marks or scratches.
This is another genuine prog classic that I am selling and it easily qualifies as a FINAL UPGRADE archive pressing.  You could not wish to find a more complete version.  I had not heard this album before and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised!  It's a very interesting album and certainly provides a different 'slant' on the prog era.  A very original LP to say the least, it was a shame they called it quits after just one album.
The laminated cover is in excellent shape overall with only a little wear on the spine.  The original mono inner is superb and as stated the psychedelic poster is practically 'as new'.  A stunning 'package' for sure.
It has the B1 stamper on both sides so is one of the first off the press.  I'm not sure there was another stamper if I'm honest!

Visual description
The vinyl is visually stunning and still has an immaculate jet-black glossy sheen with no marks or scratches.  Under a bright light I can only find a small number of very faint hairlines but even these are difficult to locate!  The run out grooves have some minor fading but the JT tax code can easily be seen on each.  The brown Deram labels are very clean with only minimal spindle wear.
Play grading
The run in on S1 has no static etc and then the intro on 'We Feel Fine' plays perfectly as does the opening vocal.  Loud and powerful there is no distortion and the quiet vocal passage then plays so clearly with no intrusion.  The following solo is just stunning, it could not play any better, and the remainder of this high octane number plays with incredible clarity and power also.  A superb Mint start to the album.
The very quiet acoustic intro on 'Friendly Birds' plays beautifully with not so much as a dust tick, the clarity is amazing!  To think this vinyl is 54 years old!  The first vocal is of the same standard with only one minor static and it continues to play with a clarity and warmth that is second to none.  The 'piano' instrumental has only a couple of very quiet dust ticks and as the volume increases there is no loss in sound quality.  There is quite a jazzy / symphonic feel to this section and you can tell Gallucci was one fine pianist listening to it.  I only noticed one mega quiet tick so I will grade as Mint- accordingly but honestly the playback is just fantastic from start to finish!  Phenomenal clarity to say the least.
'Miss Teach' plays to the same high end standard with no intrusion on the audio.  No ticks, clicks, pops or static the clarity is outstanding and the fade out / in / out section is perfect.  Another Mint track.
The entire intro on 'The Spiritual Death Of Howard Greer' plays with STUNNING quality and again there is no background.  This vinyl has been so well preserved down the decades that's for sure.  The clarity and depth on this intro is Mint and then the very quiet opening vocal keeps up the standard also.  I cannot overstate how well this plays - so so quiet and literally no intrusion on the audio.  The first high octane vocal has no distortion and from then on it plays with impeccable quality.  A surreal track in so many ways encompassing so many styles the sonic quality is stunning throughout.  The quiet vocal / instrumental towards the end does have a couple of static ticks but they do not intrude on the quality of the listen in my opinion, they are not loud.  The remainder plays with genuine power and intensity and there is no distortion on the top end, the final section is a prime example of that, absolutely STUNNING!  This is a classic proggy track from that era and it has to grade as Mint- overall.  What. A. Version.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The intro on 'Down At Circe's Place' plays with stunning precision - a great depth of sound here.  The quiet passage / vocal is then so clean and again there is not even a single dust tick let alone anything more, 'as new' sums it up perfectly.  The following instrumental is very 'busy' and yet the sonic quality does not suffer for it.  I will grade as Mint- although I am not sure the minus is required!
'Alesha And Others' plays with sublime audio from the first note to the last without any background.  Again you have to admire the crystal clear audio because there are so many quiet sections here.  You cannot even hear the stylus running through the grooves!  A stylish jazzy number that plays beautifully and Mint is very much deserved.  Just a couple of barely audible dust ticks towards the end.  Wow!
The segue into 'Seventy-Five' is perfect and the rest of the intro keeps up the standard.  The opening vocal has no intrusion and it continues to play with phenomenal quality from point on.  Running at over 11 minutes I do not need to describe each section in detail but needless to say they all play with wonderful clarity and definition.  The power of the audio is very impressive also and if there is any inner groove distortion it is so minimal and barely worth a mention.  All of the quieter sections play with incredible clarity, you could hear a pin drop!  The super quiet section around the 7.30 mark is a case in point, there is no background at all.  The rest of this epic plays with exceptional audio and the guitar solo is so clean and powerful with zero interference.  The high pitched ending and fade out are equally as strong.  A superb Mint- version to end this ultra original album.
In summary this relatively rare first pressing plays with STUNNING quality on both sides with NO interference.  There cannot have been many of these pressed and there cannot be many around today as pristine as this one that also have the original poster!  I cannot praise the audio highly enough - the clarity, depth and separation is so impressive and there is just nothing that detracts from the overall listen.  A FINAL UPGRADE time-warp classic in every way.  It has been so well looked after and clearly has not been played very much, it definitely has the wow factor!
The Gatefold, Poster & Inner Sleeve
The laminated G & L patents pending cover is in excellent condition overall with only one small area of obvious wear.  This is at the top of the spine where there is a little rubbing / splitting.  The bottom corner of the spine is actually very clean and the right hand corners are also in excellent shape with  only very minimal wear.  The edges have barely any rubbing and the opening edges are extremely clean with hardly any handling wear, the first one just has a minor kink in it near the top.  The front cover is very clean with only a handful of faint laminate creases and a 4/5 next to the spine that are a little more obvious and the back cover, with the mono / stereo indicator hole is the same.  The non-laminated interior is superb and has no marking as such, just very minimal fading / spotting along the top and bottom edges.  A very respectable example.
The original large colour poster is in superb condition with no marking, splits or tears and only minimal age related faint spotting on the reverse side.
The original red mono poly-lined inner is also in great condition with no side splits, just minor rubbing on a part of one edge and hardly any creasing.
