Description

This is a unique selling & promotional tool from the Capitol spin-off labels Tower / Sidewalk. I cannot find any evidence of this being sold previously or other release periods being given the same lavish treatment. The pack is a 36 page 'book' of album slicks plus front and back card covers held together by cook book style hinges so it lays completely flat with front cover on the right. Also included is a brown card pocket for a white label promo album which includes 2 tracks from The Chocolate Watchband album and one from The Paris Sisters 'comeback' album on Sidewalk. The other releases run the gamut in musical styles and all are included as slicks (back and front cover) in the pack. There is also an advert for The Standells "Banned" album, a two sheet promo screed and a fold-out six sided Tower 1967 catalog with thumbnails on every album released (including Sidewalk and Uptown imprints) The pack is in VG+/++ condition with minor grime on front, slight fray on the slightly oversize edges (in relation to record) - The catalog has a few in pencil tick marks (they rub off - I tested one) of desirable releases while the promo album itself is solid VG++ with no spindle marks on the labels. 
This is pretty much a unique item in terms of being offered for sale with no history I can find. Will only be shipped individually and if internationally as a registered item where the buyer will need to wait for my second invoice (after the auto Ebay one for an additional $11 registration charge. Please note this item also weighs as much as two regular albums and that is reflected in the postage for First Class domestic and International, Canada will be an extra $2 from domestic.
