Description

SETTLE IN FOR A LONG RUN OF COLLECTABLE LPs OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES!! This is a reasonably priced 1971 POPPY RECORDS PROMO COPY OF THE 1971 LP titled 'High, Low And In Between' from moody Texas singer / songwriter Townes Van Zandt. It is Poppy Records catalog number PYS-5700, promo copy with a sticker to that effect on the back cover. Personnel: Townes Van Zandt-guitar / Donnie Owens-guitar / Larry Carlton-guitar / David Cohen-guitar / Harvey Newmark-bass / JohnSumner-drums / Don Randi-piano, organ, finger cymble / Ann Whitsett-hand clopper. Tracks: Two Hands, You Are Not Needed Now, Greensboro Woman, Highway Kind, Standin', No Deal, To Live Is To Fly, When He Offers His Hand, Mr. Gold And Mr. Mud, Blue Ridge Mountains, High Low And In Between. Visual condition of record is a high VG+/VG++ with some light sleeve marks and a couple of light surface marks, none of which can be felt and none of which affect play. Condition of cover is a low VG+ with a partly removed sticker at the top left corner of the front cover as can be seen in my accompanying image, a plastic label with the date 7/21/72 at the lower right corner of the back cover, some mildew spots on the white areas of the back cover, a few wrinkles, some ring and contact wear, and some wear and flaking along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no splits, tears, or writing. This LP would be a choice addition to any Townes Van Zandt or singer / songwriter record collection! Winning bidder pays $3.00 media mail postage or actual priority mail postage within the U.S. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - Uninsured first class international airmail postage to the UK or anyplace in Europe is $13.50 - Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
