Van Zandt, who died in 1997, was a country/folk music artist who released dozens of albums dating back to the 1960s. His songs have been recorded by artists as diverse as Emmylou Harris and The Meat Puppets. In other words, the late Townes Van Zandt was a songwriter's songwriter, the kind of artist who is always more famous dead than alive.  (SEE townesvanzandt.com for more information on this great artist/songwriter.)

COVER RATED:  Good-- (heavy ringwear, discoloration, price sticker upper right corner, left corner cut, missing paper along edges, a couple 3" splits and on the verge of splitting elsewhere, musty)

• Very Good + : Minimum signs of wear.  An Excellent record to add to your collection.
• Very Good : The signs of wear in a VG + are more pronounced in a VG. 
• Good: Significant surface noise and scratches, but will still play through on a turntable without skipping.
