Here's a great and rare LP from TOWNES VAN ZANDT - THE LATE GREAT TOWNES VAN ZANDT US STEREO LP 1972. PPAL004-F. Townes is the #1 hero of alt country artists today. He died young, and in his time he wan't widely appreciated as much as he is today. These records are few and far between, and extremely rare to find them.
COVER VG+ Was designed by the great Milton Glasser, who designed so many great covers. He did the Dylan poster that came with the greatest hits LP. There's some light overall cover wear, and a small cut out top right. The front and back covers are very nice, with the white cover not degenerated like so many copies you see. The bottom seam has a 1" split at the open on the back seam. The top seams are in great shape. The spine shows a little toning from age and probably sunlight. The inside gatefold is in beautiful shape. The blacks are solid. There's a 2" split to the paper inside gatefold.
VINYL VG This LP is VG because of a couple small scratches. The effect is on side 1 track 2 there are 2 pops, and some background in some other spots, but for much of it, the LP largely plays VG+. The Poppy label is beautiful.
