Description

TOWNES VAN ZANDT Our Mother The Mountain POPPY PYS 40004 1st Pressing from 1969. RCA Rockaway Pressing plant as indicated by the stamped dead wax:

  • Matrix / Runout (Side A ): X4RS-6524-2S H
  • Matrix / Runout (Side B): X4RS-6525- -2S H

 VINYL in VG+ condition. Several light hairlines scuffs/marks, plays with quiet background crackle that remains in the background and does not overpower music. 
COVER in VG Unipak cover has ring wear noticeable on the bottom sections, Goodwill price sticker on front cover (some lucky soul found this at the Thrift Store for $.39).  CHipping on the spine with paper loss 2" toward the middle, spine still legible. Rubbing and chipping on bottom portion of the spine. Corner bumps. 2" area of top seam with some paper loss where record started to come through seam. Inner gatefold looks great.
