Description
TOWNES VAN ZANDT Our Mother The Mountain 1st U.S. pressing on POPPY, 1969 release pressed at the RCA Rockaway pressing plant indicated by the "R" in the runout grooves. Super rare and hard to find, this is a good copy with a few faults but overall very nice. Test played fully for condition.
VINYL in VG condition. Plays mostly VG+, but there are a few small scratches that cause some clicks "Why She's Acting This Way" has a 1/2" mark that causes repeating clicks for 20 seconds or so. Some lighter hairlines that cause some background noise in places, but overall nice audio.
COVER in VG with the remnants of moisture damage noticeable on the inner gatefold (see photos). The bottom portion must have experienced moisture, some lighter wear on the front cover (see photos). All seams are intact. Minor edge wear, a couple 1" spots of chipping on spine.
INNER Poppy sleeve in VG with the bottom seam split 3" down the middle.
