Description

Up for auction is TOWNES VAN ZANDT, "THE LATE GREAT" lp (POPPY PP-LA004-F, STEREO), in US ULTRA RARE ORIGINAL STEREO pressing, in PERFECT UNPLAYED BRAND NEW ALMOST MINT CONDITION, STILL IN TIGHT SHRINK!!! I BOUGHT IT SEALED AND I OPENED JUST TO CHECK IT OUT!!! ALMOST PERFECT VINYL!!!


Gatefold cover is in VG+(+) condition, STILL IN TIGHT SHRINKWRAP, two breathe holes on rear, NO seam splits, NO ring wear, has yellowish spots (signs of moisture?) both on front and rear, mostly along opening side, clip cut on upper right corner, NO writing, inner part is presumed to be absolutely clean, i've not removed the shrinkwrap, spine is perfectly intact!!! Take a look on the pics, i listed a lot of them in several different angles, just to let you check out all the blemishes carefully by yoursef!

Vinyl looks NEAR PERFECT, still keeps nice gloss and shine, tiny embossed "STERLING GF" on dead wax, i bought it SEALED and i opened it just to check its condition and i can guarantee that plays NEAR MINT, without any scratch or any background or surface wear annoying noise!!! I'd grade it very close to perfect, but as it has the typical superficial slight surface wear audible between a few songs or only in a few most quiet passages, it's rather proper to grade it as NEAR MINT!!! SOUND IS ABSOLUTELY CRISPY CLEARLY CLEAN AND EXTREMELY LOUD WITHOUT ANY SLIGHT DISTRACTED NOISE OR ANNOYING SCRATCH!!!

Labels (ORIGINAL with flower) are in BEAUTIFUL CLEAN GLOSSY MINT condition, NO spindle wear, NO marks, NO taping, NO writing, NO any wear at all!!!

Inner sleeve is in BEAUTIFUL ALMOST PERFECT TOTALLY UNCREASED condition, it's about to split on one seam, NO any wear!!!

AN ULTRA RARE GREAT FOLK RECORDING IN AMAZING OVERALL NEAR MINT CONDITION!!!
