Description
Trace is led by keyboard virtuoso Rick Van der Linden, who before founding this band was the mastermind behind the classical rock combo Ekseption. For the trio Trace, Van der Linden put together something of a super group, adding guitarist Jaap van Eik (ex-Cuby And The Blizzards, The Motions, Solution, and Living Blues) and drummer Pierre van der Linden (Brainbox, Focus and Tee Set). I find the keyboard-dominated symphonic prog rock of Trace much more creative and enjoyable than that of Ekseption. Think early ELP, but if Emerson were using a much wider variety of keyboards (from Mellotron to pipe organ) and synthesizers. This album gets my highest recommendation—and here’s a beautiful copy! In the U.S., postage would be about $4.82 for one LP sent by Media Mail. Package insured upon request. Winners outside of the U.S. will be notified of postal fees, but an approximate cost for one LP to many countries is $16.97 by airmail (but Canada and Mexico will be less than this for most single LP packages). Yes, I do combine shipping so if you bid on and win more than one item, you WILL save on postage! Note: I do not gouge on postage and packaging costs.
